Southwest DeKalb High School will offer classes in SAT Preparation this fall. The course will review Kaplan Advantage, a program to improve students’ test scores. The classes will cover test taking strategies in critical reading, writing and math concepts. Each student will receive practice booklets, practice tests and a word list.  The course will be held on five Saturdays according to the following class schedule:

Sat. March 8, 2014 (Critical Reading) 9:00 –12:00 RESCHEDULED

Sat. March 15, 2014 (Critical Reading) 9:00 –12:00 

Wed. March 19, 2014 (Critical Reading) *Make-up for 3-8-14 3:30-6:30*

Sat. March 22, 2014 (Writing) 9:00 – 12:00 

Sat. April 19, 2014 (Math) 9:00 – 1:00

Sat. April 26, 2014 (Math) 9:00– 1:00

There is a $100 resource fee to take the course. Checks and money orders should be made to Southwest Dekalb High School. Payment may be submitted to Mrs. Hackney in Room 3207 starting now and until the cut-off deadline of March 8, 2014.
