The Southwest DeKalb High School Media Center serves as an information hub for the school. We offer instruction and curricular support to ensure our students are effective users and producers of ideas and information. We provide access to technology, print, and e-resources to support the curricular needs of our students and staff. We collaborate with teachers on instructional initiatives, teach information literacy skills in the context of the curriculum, and promote reading for information and pleasure. Our library contains over 11,000 books, provides access to multiple subscription databases and research tools, and makes available laptop computers, chrome books, LCD projectors, cameras and other devices to support existing classroom technologies. ==========================================================
